nao’s graduation

This was nao’s graduation note, posted on the Official fripSide site on March 15, 2009.

To everyone who has supported fripSide:

At this time, I, nao, have graduated from fripSide.

For everyone who has supported me until now, to everyone who has given me your love, truly, thank you so much.

In these 6 years working in fripSide, I’ve had some painful, some fun, and many other memories – studying, crying, laughing, along with the chance to meet you all. I’ve gotten so many warm feelings.
There aren’t enough words that can be said to express my feelings of gratitude towards my colleagues and all of my fans who have supported me.

I believe I want to continue doing music after this.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone again as the new “NAO”.
I think I would like to keep doing cute music in the future.

Finally.
fripSide is still important to me.
fripSide is born again

A New Beginning

This month marks the end of 7 great years of musical collaboration between music producer Satoshi Yaginuma and vocalist nao.

Today, a farewell note was posted on the fripSide Official site. nao has decided to leave fripSide and pursue her own activities. Satoshi has also blogged about this decision. The big reason for this decision is difference in musical goals; they each have a different direction they want to go in. nao will be pursuing her own music career.

But this isn’t the end to fripSide! fripSide is in the midst of changes and will be reborn anew. [The Next Project] will be coming soon, so make sure to check fripSide regularly for a new update.

nao and sat made a lot of wonderful music together. She will surely be missed by all fans. Thank you for all your hardwork and dedication, nao!
