I just watched the infinite synthesis special site interview and wrote up a summary. Nanjolno’s hair is so pretty in those curls.
I also wrote a translation of Sat’s message from the special site after the video comment. Everyone should definitely read it! The message is very nice and heartfelt.

Since I know a lot of people come here looking for frip’s Oricon rankings, fripSide appears three times in the current Oricon yearly singles chart
#099 | LEVEL5-judgelight- / fripSide – 61,333 [02/17/2010]
#177 | only my railgun / fripSide – 34,006 [11/04/2009] (89,438 overall, 307 copies for 11/22/2010)
#194 | future gazer / fripSide – 28,954 [10/13/2010] (1,283 copies for 11/22/2010)
Make sure to preorder your album soon! The limited editions are almost out of stock at online shops. If you can manage it, try to buy from either HMV, CDJapan, or YesAsia because their sales are included in the Oricon charts. I think HMV is out of limited editions and CDJapan says 15 left at time of this post.
YesAsia | CDJapan | HMV | Play-Asia
Completely off-topic, but has anyone else noticed for a couple years now that YesAsia has listed Binarydigit in frip’s list, but it’s always been out of stock? Did they ever carry it or has it always just randomly been there, always oos? I mean, I have it, but I wonder if anyone was actually able to buy the album through YA
I’ve been waiting for more info about this band to come out!
Nagareda Project (流田Project) is a band produced by Satoshi Yaginuma! The five band members include Leader and guitarist S Sosui, vocalist and guitarist Yutaka Nagareda, drummer Masahiro Kurikawa, bassist Ryuji Momoyama, and guitarist Jun Anazawa.
Their first album, Nagareda P (流田 P) will also be on sale 12/1 and will be filled with anime song covers. You can view the tracklist at their official site, but there are 4 tracks that fripSide fans will be especially interested in: only my railgun, LEVEL5-judgelight-, kanashii seiza, and an extra version of only my railgun. Of course if you like the other songs on the list, definitely look into purchasing this album!

Up to three new posts today, aha ^^; Another long one too
As everyone knows by now, one of the new tracks on infinite synthesis is a lovely song named 悲しい星座, kanashii seiza, or sorrowful constellations. I just found out that this is a cover of IKU’s 悲しい星座 from her first album ユアウエア (You Aware..maybe?), and the original music was written by Satoshi Yaginuma as well. I’m not sure if this counts as a cover. If it does, it’s the band’s third (fourth if you count Crying Moon, but I don’t). The lyrics below are IKU’s version. The one chorus is the same but no idea if all the lyrics will be in Nanjo’s version. I discovered that IKU has a beautiful voice and I think I’m going to check out more of her music.
Also, before I get to the lyrics, sat commented on his blog that the exclusion of memory of snow and fortissimo is intentional and that they will not be on an album. Reasons include being b-sides, having more room for new songs, and being considered the advantages of buying the singles. late in autumn is an exception.

This is the second half of the Kanogi OST liner notes. I posted nao’s notes a while back – now it’s sat’s turn. By the way, these are formatted the same way they are in the booklet.
“Music” is relative to each person’s being, therefore it’s impossible to have one correct interpretation:
This is my musical style and my own motto.
fripSide has opened a very special site for infinite synthesis!
The site includes the tracklist, previews of every song, and a short everlasting PV preview in the album CM (!!!). At a later date, there will be a special interview.
I’m really excited for this album. lost answer was my favorite preview. stay with you sounds like… like… well, the preview was so different from every ballad fripSide’s ever made, except for the acoustic version of crying moon. I LOVE that song, so if the full song is anything like the preview, I am all for it! everlasting sounds like a mid-tempo ballad and there will be yet another gorgeous video to go with it. The rest sounded great as well, but these stuck out the most for me.
As for the live happening shortly after album release, all ticket information and guests were announced. It took the official site like 6 separate news story today just to give all the details. (Why not just put it all in one update, I don’t know…) Artists performing at Geneon fripSide Festival are *drum roll* fripSide (shocking!), ELISA, and IKU. If you want tickets and you’ll be in Japan, buy them here. They are on sale now.
And, MUSIC JAPAN Shinseiki Anison SP 3 complete concert will be playing one more time on NHK:
11/9 at 25:00, aka 11/10 at 1am JST.
So everyone, the Geneon debut album releases in less than a month! Let’s all make it really successful: make sure you start saving up and pre-order now!
