fripSide not on iTunes anymore?

I caught wind of this all thanks to keywords like ‘fripside removed from US itunes’ this morning.

It appears that fripSide’s US iTunes store was taken down recently. They would not be the first Japanese artist removed from US iTunes as Ayumi Hamasaki’s and Namie Amuro’s stores have also disappeared in the past month or two.

This really makes me angry because it was a very cheap and legal way for us to get fripSide’s music. I honestly wonder what’s going on that many J-artist stores are disappearing.

However, their discography is still available on Japan’s iTunes store, but as far as I know, the songs cannot be easily purchased.

Yoshino Nanjo will be on Twinkle☆Crusaders drama CD

Yup, another random news update about Nanjolno!! Yoshino will appear on an upcoming Twinkle☆Crusaders drama CD next year as the character Lullshare. The title is Kira Kira Soundstage #PSS Illear and Lullshare. The CD will be available February 24, 2012 and includes one character song for Lullshare called Sweetest memory.

ALTIMA will be on STUDIO MUSIX next year

Maon Kurosaki updated her blog on Wednesday about an appearance at ANIMAX’s STUDIO MUSIX. She said there was a talk segment and also a live performance!

Then I peaked at Chiaki Kyan’s blog, one of the show’s hosts, and she wrote that ALTIMA will be on February’s show in the Pick-Up Artist corner.

I know that ALTIMA isn’t fripSide, but it is part of Sat’s world, so I will update about them. Also, I like this trio a lot.

fripSide = eyecandy in your subways

If you are one of the many people to travel on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya line over the week, make sure to stop in Akihabara. Ad posters of fripSide and the girls of A Certain Scientific Railgun are hung near three exits in the station. The posters will be up for one week starting from Dec 12 and ending Dec 18. Isn’t it great that the official website made no mention of this until Dec 13?

And look at A Certain Shop’s Super Corner at the area’s Toranoana store:

urgh, when you buy the DVD edition at Toranoana, you don’t just get the Railgun poster – you get one that actually has fripSide on it!!!! How frustrating ;_; Someone get me one, please? =D
