style:fripSide's Creation

A few years back I stumbled upon a great music site, muzie, where amateur Japanese musicians posted their own works for others to enjoy. I found a lot of great artists and some really spectacular work at muzie that I still listen to today. One of the artists that really stuck out was fripSide. They had just released their second album a couple months ago when I found their really poppy song, "splash emotion." When I visited their page, I had found more that they had more great songs than just "splash emotion," and from there I fell in love with fripSide's sound.

I knew that this band really wanted to get more exposure, so I decided to create style:fripSide in order to help any one else overseas who wanted to know more about fripSide. I don't want my site to replace their Official site, but I want it to be a one-stop source for those of us who cannot understand all the Japanese and put all information and goodies into one place for us.

As a fan and a friend, I hope fripSide the best of luck and will always continue to listen to their music and support their work. I hope you will all do the same! ^_^

About This Site

I made this site to get other people informed about fripSide, a great (once indie) pop band in Japan! This site is meant for people who enjoy their music but cannot read/understand Japanese. This site is also dedicated to Satoshi Yaginuma, the genius and producer behind fripSide.

This site is all about fripSide. Anything related to fripSide goes on the site. My goal for this site is to keep people who cannot speak or read Japanese up to date with fripSide's activities, or to introduce them to this great band :)

This is also a place to find album information, live performance information, the band's profile, translated lyrics, and more.

Site's Personal Policies

A lot of people come to my site looking for information and lyrics. I am glad for this. However, I want to make it very clear that while I want to be a one-stop source for fripSide, it does not mean that I will provide album and single downloads! I only link to legit sources to get their free material online. I will not upload or send any mp3s or music videos to anyone. I also do not provide CD booklet scans.

Let fripSide know you are a fan! Buy their material and definitely buy their albums and singles now available on major online stores. It will help encourage them to keep selling their work worldwide so it's available to all fans.

And most importantly, this site does not follow the personal lives of fripSide members and staff. Only information regarding their music is posted.
